However, punishment and retribution have little effect on crime rates or antisocial behaviors. Rehabilitation, education, opportunities, and support are often much more effective in achieving the goal of crime reduction and safer communities. | |||

We have one of the most unfair and inadequate health care systems in this country and the U.S. health care system ranks 15th in the world despite the fact we have the most expensive care in the world. And of course Georgia is in bottom 5 of states in the U.S. | |||
| Veterans: There are far to many veteran suicides, far to many veteran suicides and far to many veterans in jails and prisons. Infrastructure: Extend broadband to all of rural Georgia and lets fill some pot holes. Voting Rights: Expand the vote and make registration and voting easier. All Georgian should be heard. |
